KA and the best buffet!

We got all dressed up and went to this amazing ($37 a person) buffet. I think the buffet was worth it. They had yummy sushi, prime rib, and seafood. It was so good. Then after that we saw this




It was so good! The acrobats were incredible and the story is awesome! I want to go to the other Cirque Du Soleil shows in Vegas now, after we see Phantom of course. If you guys go to Vegas, I seriously recommend going to this show.

Races in Vegas

My sister, Carrie, and her husband, Tim, are really big in to racing. Every year they go to the races in Vegas. This year they decided to invite Rob and I. Neither of us have been before. It was way fun. As the top fuel dragsters would fly past us, you could feel them in your whole body. It would rattle your chest from the inside out. It was amazing! They were going so fast, over 300 mph!! It was a fun first experience. I also saw some very interesting people. Those of you that know me, know that I love to people watch. I took a few pictures of some of the people I saw and of other things too. Here they are. :)




Carrie and Rob were whipping each other with their ear plugs. I caught Carrie in action. This was the middle of her swinging them around like numchucks. Also the guy in the background looks very concerned.

Very creative way to keep the hot sun off your face and neck. It does look uncomfortable so I am not sure the pros out weigh the cons. He was drunk so he probably didn't notice the cons, like the piece of cardboard jutting into his ear.
The first day of races, Carrie and I dropped off the guys and went shopping. I love me some Forever 21!

These are the junior dragsters. Carrie and Tim have already bought one for Dani. I think you have to be at least 8 years old to drive these. Pretty cool.

Why do I??

Why do I feel it is necessary to post pictures every time I blog? I feel like if I don't put pictures then I shouldn't write. Maybe I am too boring without the visuals.

It was Tammie's Bday and I was trying to get a pic with her and her oldest daughter. As you can see...


It didn't really work that well. Ha! This is one of the reasons that I love Jason, he's funny. I still think that Tammie and Brittany look beautiful even with the ugly mug in the background!

Who loves her Cindy LooHoo hair? :) And there you have it...some pictures of our weekend up in Orem. I wish I would have remembered my camera a lot more. We did so much more and I always forgot my camera.

Because I miss my mom.

I think everyone misses their mom when they are a little sick. I got to visit her grave when we went up to Orem/Provo the weekend of fall break. I have been thinking a lot about her and not just cause I am sick (but also because I am sick too..lol). In this program there have been a lot of things that remind me of her, when she was sick. Sometimes its hard and sometimes its not. When it's hard I call one of my sisters or my bro. I use them to make me happy again, they don't know this cause I don't mention why I really called. Anyway, I am very thankful to have the family and friends that I have. Even my cousins and extended family are so awesome!

I did have a purpose to this post and now I forgot it. Oh well, There is my moms beautiful headstone with her beautiful face on it. I thought I would share it with y'all.

The Little Kid In Rob

It's Sunday...no it's football Sunday! Rich, Rob's Twin, came down from Cedar to hang out with us. Rob loves it when his brother's come to visit, I do too. Anyway, they have been watching conference, playing Halo 3, Playing Tennis, and watching football all day long. I'm sitting on the couch studying when all the sudden I hear snoring. I Investigate and see THIS!!! HAHAHA!



How cute is that?!! Haha, seriously he fell asleep with the football in his hands like that! I would expect that from a little boy...actually I would expect it from Rob. I love that he still has little kid in him.
