So a while back Rob, Rich, Ashley, and I all went to the Hare Krishna Colors Festival. It celebrates the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. There were tons a people there and a band that played all different tunes with the same three words as lyrics...Hare, Krishna, and Rama. Not in that particular order. They had Vegan food...which sadly I didn't get to try. Directly from their website : "
It is a festival that breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a typically colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, black and silver). People in small groups are seen singing, dancing and throwing colors on each other." So there you have it... you should check it out. It was pretty fun.
Not even half the crowd.
