I'm not DeD

Ok first things first...I PASSED MY RN NCLEX!!! Granted that it was about a month ago, but man it felt good to finally have that over with. All the schooling finally paid off. I have been keeping busy. Now that I am not letting school consume me, I am playing softball on a couple of teams. I am very rusty OR I was never as good as my mind thought I was. hehe. It has been really fun playing and seeing some of the girls I played with in high school.

In July we went to the Stadium of Fire (Thanks Joe and Linds for getting us tickets). Here are some pictures of that event.

Some parts got a little boring

Also during July we got to watch Lorenzo, our nephew for about 4-5 days. It was so fun to have this toddler in our house. He is the funnest kid! So happy all the time and loving to everyone! Rob was the one that mostly watched him because I was working most of the days. Uncle Rob did spoil him just a bit. It was nice because they wore each other out by the end of the day. He took him swimming, which we didn't get pictures of.

They stopped at the carnival in town and Ren rode the train. He was a little scared at first but then he had fun. I think he was also tired because earlier this day they went swimming too.Ren and Rob Swimming at the park

We took Ren to the park almost every day. This kid can go down that slide for hours.

Our friends, Josh and Cris, invited us to go 4-wheeling with them a few weeks ago. The ride was so fun and beautiful! I did wreck.....dumb.

My niece, Addy, had her birthday this past week. Joe and Linds invited us to go see the movie Up in 3-D with them and the kids for Addy's b-day. I couldn't help but take this picture of Dallin in his cool 3-D shades. I wish I would have got more pictures of us in the shades. BUT look how freakin cute Dallin is.

Rich also got married this past week or so. It was so weird/awesome to see the last Brandt boy get married. They had such a pretty reception and open house. So here the pictures begin with the bachelors party, a different kind of bachelor's party. The guys took Rich out shooting for his last night of freedom. Here is Rob and Joe.

So after the temple ceremony we had a potluck BBQ with all the family. Also it was an open house for the people down in Manti. This is Jake manning the Grill. He didn't want to get his tie dirty but later game up with a better idea to stay clean......

Congrats Rich and Ash

Rich is the last of the Brandt Boys to get married and he picked an AWESOME girl. Can't wait to hang out more. 4 more days and there are officially 2 Ashley/Ashlee Brandt's!

Saturday the Brandt girls (minus Lauren) went to the Ashley's bridal shower. I stole the pic above. In it: Ashley, Victoria, Me, Linds, and Ashlee.

Mother's Day/Memorial Day

It has been a while. I am a slacker. I have been studying to take the RN Boards and it consumes a lot of my time. I actually just rescheduled it for July because I want to make sure I am ready for it. So? What have we been up to this past month? Well we have been really involved in sports...go figure huh. I finally started playing softball again. I am very rusty and its sometimes frustrates me that I am not as good as I once was BUT I am having tons of fun! I want to play on more than one team for fall ball. Also, I would like to learn to play soccer and tennis better. I have played both but not competitive. AND I want to start climbing again. Oh the things I can do now that I am not in nursing school anymore. Back to what we have been doing. I graduated with my RN degree on May 30th and got a new job in SLC. Rob and I have been hanging with family a lot. It has been so fun to be back close to family, not that I didn't love the St. George weather. We have been going to house/pool parties, bday parties, movies, dinner, and much more. I love our family. We have a trip planned to North Carolina in July to see Chuck, Lauren, and Caiden. I am so excited! Then if all goes well ($$), we are going to the Phillipines with Jason's in-laws in December. I am way too excited for that. So hopefully I get my camera fixed so I wont have to use my iphone pics.

Memorial Day Rob

I put this here because I love Jason's face. This is my sister-in-law, Toni's, family. Jason is her husband. They are way cool and always invite Rob and I to come eat with the whole extended family. It is some good food! They are also the ones that invited us to the Phillipines with them.
