Homecomine Parade with the DSNA
The Dixie Student Nursing Association was in the homecoming parade. It was so much fun! We put a hospital bed in the back of the truck and had all the members that could come dress up as patients or in their scrubs. Last year the DSNA didn't really do much. This year, with a new presidency, we wanted to make the DSNA more involved in service and the community. We really have done so much and I am so proud of the girls that have been running it with me! It has been really time consuming being in the DSNA presidency but so far it has been worth it!
All who were in the parade! Thanks for braving the "cold".
Part of the DSNA Presidency. VP, Secretary, and Pres.

Two of our instructors, we made them take the walkers! lol!

The mtn dew filled foley.
Haha! Ever seen anyone with a walker run like that?? We must be good nurses!
I wasn't really going to be in the bed. :) Just keeping it warm for Dalin.

haha! Drinking from the foley. Don't worry, it's not urine, its a NEW foley and its mtn dew.
a lizard??
How in the Heck did a lizard get in our house?! I know we live in St. George and all but seriously...I can't think of a way that this could have happened. So I am in our computer rooming, minding my own business....doing homework when Rob walks in and points out the lizard right by my feet. We caught it and set it free outside but really how in the world did a lizard get in our house, let alone in the back room?? We don't leave the windows or doors open...it's too hot outside for that. Weird. Well, Joe and Linds, at least next time we want to catch lizards now we know that we don't need to go to some "ghost town" to do it. :)
A weekend with the Brandts
ForEVer ago, The Brandt girls all got together up at Joe and Lind's place in Ogden. It was Vickie's birthday weekend and it was so much fun. Friday night Rob and I got there. Then the girls left Rob and Rich to babysit the kids and we headed out on our Girls Night Out. We went to see Mama Mia. It was fun to be out but the movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I am a fan of Abba but the movie was a little too cheesy. Sorry all you MM fans, no hard feelings? Anyway, like I said, it was way fun to be out at the movies and to see my MIL dancing and singing in her seat. lol. After that we came home and rescued the boys..hehe. We played cards until who knows when in the morning. I believe that I am the reigning President and Rob was the reigning scum.
The next morning we all got up to take some family pictures. The results are below. I manipulated a bunch of them so the color stood out more and so some were in black and white. They looked so good! But they are on my other computer so you get the ones that haven't been fixed at all....don't hate me for being lazy, its late.
Vickie and the grandkids....there will be a few of these. I know nobody cares to see the same pic over and over in different versions...but this is my blog and I love the pics so deal with it. haha!

The Brandt girls and grandkids, try number 1.
Just the girls....see in the other pics I fixed the lighting....

I love this pic...

Vickie and the grandbabies...another one of m favorites.
HEHEHE! See why I love this little man!

The newest Brandt wives and grandchild.
Ash, Vickie, Caiden, and Lauren.

Lorenzo and Me.
No Idea. I think Ash is saying something important..."ya'll THIS is a BABY..." jk...it must be late because in no way does Ash have a southern accent.
Dallin and Addy. I wish I wouldn't have cut half of Addy's face off! This would have been such a great pic.
Dallin and Addy again..more serious faces.

No one is looking at my camera and for some reason I love this pic. The grandkids and grandma Vickie.
More Pics.
Brandt Butts Drive Men Nuts!

This wasn't planned but I think the picture turned out nicely.
As Lauren accurately put it....The Girl Band.

Rob trying to prove a point here....I'm not sure what it is...
Addy and Rob
I promise we didn't make her do this!!! It just happened and I don't care what you say...I think its funn and cute.
Me and Rob.

Two of my favorite men, Ren and Rob.
My Cute MIL, Vickie.
I love this pic because of one thing...Ash in the background!
Dallin, Rich, Lorenzo, and Rob
Chubby baby cheecks! Sleeping Caiden.
I love this little boy. I just want to give him millions of kisses! Ren...
Rob and cute little man Caiden
Can someone please buy me a nice digital SLR? Off the subject, I know. Ok so...Vickie wanted a picture with the newest Brandts because a year or so ago Linds, me, Vickie, and Addy had a similar picture taken.

Sorry about these sizes. I am way to L.A.Z.Y. to fix them. Here is Uncle Rich and Ren.
Saturday early evening we went to Body Worlds and I absolutely loved it! I wish I could have gone when there were less people though. Then after that we picked Joe and Jake up from teh airport and all went out to dinner and Tha Red...or Red Lobster. Here are a few pics that Rob snapped.

The newest Brandt, Caiden...and some wierd mountain man. Jk thats Jake with a beard (what would you call that collection of hair on his chin)?

Twinsies!! Yay! Rob and Rich.
LOL. Chuck and Lauren...the whole Brandt fam was there.
The whole fam. You can even see Chuck back there on the laptop! Love it!
Once again...I could write some sort of closing comments but I am too lazy.

long time no bloggy
Wow, so I haven't posted in a while. I have been crazy busy with school, work, and the student nurses association. Oh yeah....did I mention I got a job as an LPN? Probably not. Anyway, who cares about that boring stuff. Here are some pictures of the health fairs we ( the DSNA presidency and class reps) did.

Me and Carly doing BMI and BFC
CJ, Toni, and Lisa doing the BP
and CJ and Toni. It was really great to get out in the community as nurses and help out. As a presidency, we have really made the effort to put our club on the map in Southern Utah for service.
